Technical information on door panes
Basic construction of post mountable sound proofing is coated, 20-30 mm wide mdf - plate, which is installed on the surface of the door with, for example 3M VHB 4936 0,6 mm acrylic foam tape. Technical information on acrylic foam tape here. Tapes are placed on panes ready to use. Due to air compartment, between the pane and the door, and seals the soundproofing capability of the door increases approx. 10 dB.

If the old door is really crooked you can use 1,1 mm VHB tapes or secure the pane with screws in the corners.
